Hi there! I'm Özgü, a Turkish-origin, Japan-based UX/UI designer and a travel addict. ✈️
Whenever I plan a trip abroad, the first thing I do is search "how much does it cost to travel to [country]?" I'd spend hours digging through blog posts, Reddit threads, and outdated guides trying to piece together a realistic budget.
After living in Japan for years, I realized that visitors face the exact same struggle when planning a trip here. The information is scattered, often outdated, and rarely personalized. So I thought: why not build the tool I always wished existed?
That's how JapanTripCost was born. A simple, honest calculator that gives you a real budget estimate in seconds. No fluff, no ads, no guesswork. Just real 2026 prices based on your travel style, destinations, and preferences.
